- Contains special resins that allow to withstand pressures up to 30 bar and temperatures up to 270° C.
- Resists up to 30 bar by applying one 25 mm thick on the radius.
- Resists up to 270 °C with max 3-4 bar pressure.
- It is applicable on pipes of any material because he works by exercising a strong pressure on the pipeline.
- If the pipe contains water, bandage can be applyed even without closing the system.
- Excellent on pipes containing steam and on heating systems.
- For large diameter pipes it is possible to apply multiple overlapping bandages.
- It applies in a just few minutes without any Training and minimizes downtime and related intervention costs.
- It also works underwater.
- Repair of cracks on pipes, curves and fittings of any material.
- Sectors: food, pharmaceutical, paper, chemical, petrochemical, naval sector, etc.
- The use of disposable gloves is required.
- Grind or abrade and thoroughly clean the area to be repaired 50-60 mm before and after the hole or crack, avoiding leaving residues.
- Immerse the bandage in water at Room Temperature (18-25°C) for 20-25 seconds.
- Roll it up on the pipe and pull it at least 8 rounds applying the greatest thickness on the hole.
- Overlap the layers leaving uncovered no more than 10% of the underlying layer.
- Once applied, smooth the surface pressuring the bandage with wet hands all around.
- Allow the bandage to harden for about 30 minutes and return the system to service.
- If necessary, apply a second bandage right away.
- Once opened the bandage must be completely used.
- Store in a cool and dry place (max + 20°C).
- If stored correctly, the shelf life is at least 24 months.
